Xantara is equipped with a removable, oscillating high definition grid to significantly decrease patient irradiation. The grid can easily be removed when required. APR -linked filters permit automatic selection based on the type of examination.
Virtual collimation uses Last Image Hold to place the collimator shutters at the exact location required. A video camera encased in the LED collimator provides an extra tool for radiation-free positioning.
